Building & Facilities
Oakwood is a locally listed Victorian building surrounded by an acre of grounds.
PACT Educational Trust acquired the property in July 1996. The school has large, airy classrooms and a purpose-built sports hall.
There is a large playground, two play apparatus areas (one for the school and one for the nursery) and a sports pitch for netball, football and short tennis. The school makes use of the Warlingham Rugby Club grounds for junior PE lessons.
The Early Years provision was developed extensively during 2009/10. The Reception children moved into what was previously the Upper Nursery classroom in September 2010, and there are plans for further development of their kitchen area in the near future. In April 2010, the new nursery classroom was completed and this accommodates the Upper Nursery children. The new outside covered play area is now available for all Early Years children at the rear of the building. Further development of this area is planned over the forthcoming academic year.
The school also has an attractive chapel with the Blessed Sacrament reserved during the week in term time.
